Bitter Joe Montana says '89 team would beat this years team

Never call Joe Montana bitter!!

Now I think this team would put a major hurt on that 1981 team. Everyone love Dwight, but I think our CBs can check him. And the 81's rushing offense was pretty average. So 12 D would suffocate them and only worry about the pass. Athleticism, forget about it.
On offense, this line would dominate 81's D line. They don't have the size or athleticism to match up

# 1 in O.F.s # 1 In ' D ' is this right the 89 team if so JOE right !!!!
Not to mention that the 89 team didn't have to worry about things like a salary cap...odds are all the pre-salary cap dynasties would beat the best teams today.
Without a doubt the 89 Niners are much better then todays team.

THIS !!!!
He's right. That 89 team was unstoppable. I dont think any one of the Niner squads could beat them, although maybe the 94 squad could keep it close bc they had a great defense as well.

Still, is it really necessary to come out and say this leading up to the Super Bowl?
I don't the ops side of this. Joes being honest. The 89 team would smoke this team. Its not close!
Shut the hell up , Joe by himself made the 89 team better than this years team ! WTF
