If the Seahawks lose then its nothing right? I mean we are "overrated" after all?
Nothing to lose, everything to gain.
If the Seahawks lose then they will take care of business against the rams then we will see you in the playoffs.

You would have to make it out of the first round on the road without Sherman to see us. Good luck.
Kenny Easley! Now you are talking, NCommand. But that was a world ago.

Regardless of whether or not the Seahawks win, they'll most likely be the #5 seed because they'll have a better record (assuming they beat the Rams at home) than the CHI, MIN, WAS, NYG, and DAL. Which means they play the winner of the NFC East away. I would say at this point, it would be a toss up for any one of those teams against the Seahawks, but I think I would have them favored.

You seem like a true (humble) Hawk fan...one I'm guessing who's been a fan for many years. I was born and raised up in Seattle and remember the players: Easly, Zorn, Largent...even Bosworth. LOL. My family/friends are still huge Hawk fans and to those fans, I have all the respect in the world. No professional team (outside the Sounders and women's basketball) has won a championship there since 1979 when they were the Super Sonics. They are a truly cursed fan-base...need more proof? What happened when the Sonics left. What happened when the Hawks did make it to the Superbowl. The list goes on and on and on...it's never been a great sports town by any means save for soccer. Fans would get more riled up for the jumbo-tron hydroplane races then the actual game itself. In fact, it was such a poor fan-base that IT was the reason I became a Niner fan in the first place. All throughout the bipolar year's of the 70's and 80's, nobody went to games and many were subject to blackouts. So as a child, I grew up with what WAS on TV...and next regional coverage games shown were the Niner's through the 80's.

So to this day, to the true Hawk fans like my family/friends still up there, I tip my cap to your loyalty/devotion. But to the 90% of the transplant 12th Man Fans there now, I say "Eff you!" I also say "Thank you" to them for not existing yet as you were the true reason I became a Niner fan. I feel blessed enough to have grown up as a child watching THE greatest franchise in all of sports through the 80's and 90's.

Good luck this w/e Hawk fan and may the better team that day win. Either way, we'll meet again soon...

thank you for feeling my pain and please no more proof, you did leave out the mariners however can't argue with anything you've said in this post... all i can say to that is, that first one will be that much sweeter... till then we still have the seattle storm

your post is interesting in the fact that it is true, and true of other cities as well.. which is why i never understood, why there is so much hatred and desdain towards other franchises from some fans.. you've been able to enjoy a bountiful history in many different sports for years.. healthy trash talking is great , i'm first in line to talk some smack, but hatred? just don't understand it.

having said that F**K the niners . Go Hawks!!!!

Looking forward to this game! I am a Seahawk fan, but grew up cheering for Montana and the 9ers. SF has a great team this year and if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. This will be a good measuring stick of how far the team has come since Pete took over and how far we still have to go. I don't think we are quite there yet. There are still holes in our D that OC's have figured out how to exploit as the season has gone on and we are still short a couple of explosive weapons on offense. But I am very happy with where we are versus 09 when it required many drinks to watch an entire road game! I do believe we can beat the 9ers with our present lineup, but I think it requires us to get a few lucky bounces.
Seahawks can be dangerous in the playoffs. Super physical team, great running game, tough defense. I'd rather play the Skins, Cowboys, Bears, or pretty much anyone besides the Giants lol.
49ers/Seacocks on PTI coming up in 4 minutes......
