2012 Alex Smith > 2012 Peyton Manning

Manning just doesn't have the incredible arm strength thathe used to have. It's really showing.

I didn't see the game tonight, but there were a couple throws last week that made me cringe how soft and flat they looked. It looked like a changeup coming out of his hand. I noted it in case it becomes a recurring theme.

All 3 of those, especially that last pass, are just fugly. Thank God we didn't get him

Hey, he almost has as many interceptions that Alex Smith had last year.

noooo... this thread could be "historic" at the end of the season.

such as the game against Philly in 2010... and the kevin kolb thread too.... and the comparisons alex vs mcnabb, batch, bulger, volek... aikman

alex is the best qb in nfl (based soley on these 2 games)
Alex has gotten better under Harbaugh ,but not Peyton or even Eli better. But thats ok we're doing just fine with him leading this awsome team.

You got to look at the totality of thier careers, no comparison
Manning almost came back. 4 picks but that was it. He needs to slow it down a bit with the hurry up so quickly.
Maybe this game will bring him back down to earf and not have to pass every friggin down. But hey, I'm no Broncos fan, so in the end, not a single is given.

Actually I think Matt Ryan has been better. Ryan has the best QB Rating so far in 2012.

Alex... the second best QB Rating in 2012.

And what's funny? Their stats are eerily similar.

Not if you are talking about this year you don't. I have been a Peyton fan since his freshman year of college and consider him one of the all time treats, but I also think he should have retired last year, he might be playing past the point of being his old self, plus I worry about his health.
