Cutting Ginn makes no sense. He will stay this year we aren't dying because of his salary this year. Now after the season he will probably be gone but if we cut him this year we don't really gain much compared to the loss we take in the return and field position game.

Let us be logical. Players are cut at this point in time due to thier work they do or do not do in the off season, otas, training camp etc. What has kyle williams done or not done to make you think he will be cut. If the season started tomorrow, the kid we drafted would be cut based upon off season work and how they have done so far in otas but we all know that will not happen. He wont be cut today, he will probably be cut in final cuts after training camp. Mainly because the numbers at his position and the fact he is huge liability in the return game.

Kyle Williams will not be cut. He is at worst 4th on the depth chart. Ginn very seriously is in danger of being cut imo if he doesn't embrace his role of returner a little more and his role as wr a little less. As it sits he is at best 5th on the depth chart, but will not be kept over Jenkins.

I would cut Williams... WR's like Williams are a dime a dozen. Crabtree, Moss, Manningham and Jenkins are all capable of putting up his numbers. Yet Ginn is the clear cut #1 return man and lets not forget how crucial that position is after having guys like Battle, Hicks and Brandon Williams returning kicks.

The coach will not bend over backwards for williams or anyone else, williams is just like every player, he has to earn his room and board. Now sus,,, I do agree with the guy,,, he will not shy away from giving him reps at returning. I think he has already done that in some of those otas so he has already proven last year is in the past to him and its a clean slate with williams. I agree with the poster that the coach holds no grudge against williams,, had he held a grudge, williams would already be gone. But no special favors will be given, he has to earn it, just like ck has to earn the number two job, and just like the way dixon has got to try to earn his spot,, I would have it no other way
