The, It's time to eat some crow thread.

yes I'm waiting to carve up crow as a replacement for truducken come end of November. but hell peeking into PYMWYMI, 2011-2012 Edition (Year 6) almost all of us are bound to chew on some black bird. so my ? is why try to knock others when eventually it ends up making one look like a hypocrite.
I will have the appetizer portion, please.

I predicted 7-9 and with four games left against the Rams and the Cards, we should hit 9 wins minimum. I also compared Harbaugh to Sing and Nolan after the D gave up the lead and the game against the Cowboys. Clearly, that was in error. I was also skeptical about the draft and free agency class. Mea culpa, Baalke.

Serve it up!

I was wrong about the Aldon Smith pick (mostly because I didnt know who he was)

Wrong about our record I picked us going 6-10

Wrong about some of Baalke's free agent moves.

THIS is the BIGGEST difference I see with all the haters and susweel that I've known for a while now. While sus makes critical opinions about this team, he is a man enough to admit when he's wrong...

Unlike other people we know... *no names need to be said here*

to sus for man-ing up!

Thanks Kid I dont care about being right. I just want my team to win and now they are and it feels damn good.

P.S. "Be patient, we have a plan". The great plan revealed was the loss of Franklin, Lawson, Baas, Clements, Spikes, and the acquisition of Carlos Rogers, Braylon Edwards, Donte Whitner, Madieu Williams, Jonathan Goodwin, Now, that, my friends, is greatness.

Well, he was right. Amazing call.

That's fair. He has looked good at times, but hasn't been asked to do too much, reflected in his number of attempts and total yards passing. His clutch TD yesterday was awesome, his passes that continually sailed made me worried though.

That TD was very clutch, great throw and play call.
biggest crow for me is Aldon, he's looking like DROY material.

2nd. Anthony Davis. he looked good yesterday

3rd. Gore. i said lost a step.... he's just lost half a step. Two years ago he wouldn't have been caught on the 1yrd line.

I predicted 10-6 and the division title. Ill probably be eating crow. If the 49ers go 5-5 from here on out I would be correct. Don't see that happening. This is going to be a very good year. (knocking on wood)

It's already been a good year.
I guess I have to have some to. I said at best we get 8-10 and I am predicting more wins now so there is that. But, I did say we are no where near as bad as people called us and that there was know way we do worse with Jim over Mike. I also said this would be Alex's best season, we will see. I am glad I finally have some backup to bring when talking football to fans of other teams.

You know what sucks? If Maddog really loved this team, he would man up and eat crow so he can enjoy this victorious moment. Instead, he would rather celebrate alone (if at all), rather than admit his mistakes. I always thought he was very knowledgable even if I didn't always agree, but I'm losing a lot of respect for him with every game that passes. I understand some of you want to rub it in his face, personally I dont agree with that. However, I just want him to admit he was wrong and join the party. Its the only logical thing to do.

Every 49er fan on earth should come here and enjoy these last few games. And whatever lies ahead of us for the rest of the season.

Good luck with that. Been a member of this site since 2006 and I have NEVER seen the angry one admit he's wrong. NOT ONCE.

Admitting that one has made a mistake, and being willing to "eat crow" and take responsibility for being wrong doesn't make one a hypocrite.

Calling on others to stand up and admit they might have been wrong is not hypocritical, its simply a recognition that credibility is valued on this board.

Its a statement that its okay to be wrong, as long as you're honest about it and willing to face up to it. In a way, it encourages civil discussion and debate. IMHO.
