I thought it was time to move on from Alex Smith. Not because I shared the opinions of a number of other people. I just thought we knew what we were getting with him. Jury is still out on that one, nice to see him throw a TD with the game on the line.

I cant remember what I predicted, but your offseason point is good. Even now, I dont understand why the lack of time seemed to have little impact. I mean, this was a given. Rookie HC straight from College, troubled team, struggling to find its identity and with a shortage of leaders, and those we had were, as it were, playing at the wrong positions. Young and inexperienced GM. Unsure future in home stadium and even city.

Textbook for a poor season. I was very optimistic, but about the 2012 season! 2011? Be fair. You have to give the man time.

Except we didn't. And I just dont understand why. Perhaps Harbaugh is even better than advertised, or perhaps we had more talent than we realised, and had just been incapable of using it. But the team looks good.

But 2012 still looks great!

Smith is doing well since what ... week 9 of last year? I think people should be giving him more credit but whatever ... we are winning and that is all that matters to me.

It's gotta feel weird for them to see the success Harbaugh and Baalke has brought to the 49ers, when many of them had written off the team before they had even played a regular season game.

Do they even cheer when the team does well? It must feel like cheering for another team.

I did NOT want carlos rogers this offseason, but he's been a f**king boss!

I forecast a 3-13 season, given the limitations of the lockout.

I will have my crow roasted on the spit, please, and wash it down with some blue-collar brews.

yes I'm waiting to carve up crow as a replacement for truducken come end of November. but hell peeking into PYMWYMI, 2011-2012 Edition (Year 6) almost all of us are bound to chew on some black bird. so my ? is why try to knock others when eventually it ends up making one look like a hypocrite.
