Failed to put up points? He had the TD to crabs taken away even though Crabtree NEVER stepped out of bounds! Not to mention last time I checked it was Smith who drove us down field to score.

There's more that goes into QB play than stats
we were wayching different games
and the reason he doesnt throw to WR deep because the WR dont run routes that far yet we are still early in our playbook
but when given teh chance he was on the money throwing deep 3/3 throwing over 15 yards

Loved that final drive. Pressure was on. Smith delivered in the clutch. If you've noticed? He's been doing this, delivering in the clutch, the past three games.
Normally? When a game is on the line? Smith goes into meltdown mode and does something stupid.
But Harbaugh isn't allowing that to happen this time. He's giving Smith ample opportunities to win the game.
Smith won this game today. And in December? It doesn't matter how you won in September. A September win is a September win.
