Great PICK,He's No Alex Smith or any of the otheR QBS we had last year- This guy could have opt'd for pro baseball as a pitcher (fastball clocked at 95 miles ...Guys do your research before you judge, He's raw, But he's a leader! as far as the offense he ran in college, there are several pro teams that have studied the film (pistol offense) to see if it would work in the NFL- GOOD PICK

this ^
but I hope and think he'll be ready in 2012.
also hope Harbaugh brings him in this year in certain situations to help his development a little

Just wondeting do you think they really wanted Dalton and settled for Kap?
Not at all. I don't think they ever planned on taking Dalton in the first place. I think Denver gave them a decent offer on trading up and they jumped in front to grab Kaepernick before the Cardinals or the Raiders beat them to it.
I think Harbaugh wanted Kaep the entire time.

Watch, as I post this, Dalton will go on to be a pro-bowler, but if it makes any difference, this random-ass scouting website on Dalton: "Has a low ceiling, doesn't possess any rare physical gifts to set him apart from other quarterbacks... Probably will never develop into an NFL starter..."

Colin Kaepernick said Harbaugh was very hands-on and energetic: "He’s the type of coach that gets you excited to play the game."
