ALL gone next year

If Tory does his job to the fullest, he maybe still here next season. It's all about what he does with his opportunities.

I'd love to keep him as a #2/care-taker #1 to a rookie QB if our next HC coach runs a WCO-philosophy.

I wonder what the Alex lovers will say if Troy comes in and lights it up.

Me the ALEXLOVER(U'r a f^&^ing idiot), will root for any player what-so-ever to come in and play well. I'm not so caught up in my own stupidity, that I let one single player or those who root for him control my every thought. So if Troy does come out and play well, in which "I" hope he does, are "you" still going to be going down on Alex giving him a hand job with your every move like you are now? Your more obsessed than anyone else with your constant doy'ness. That's what you do regardless. It's like grow up. But who am I to say?

No need for the personal insults.

I agree! Just take a look at the original...

So the term Alex Lover is an insult ?

Do you not use it to downgrade those fans who support him? Do you not use it to get a simple troll like reaction? Why else would you use that term besides to get an ego boost and think that you are the almighty because you don't like Alex. "I wonder what the Alex lovers will say if Troy comes in and lights it up." What are you implying besides saying people are stupid for sticking up for the past starting QB of our franchise? You make it seem like just cause you disagree with Alex in as the starter you are right. When quite honestly, you don't have a clue. Either do I. So yes, the way it is used around here is an insult. Just because somebody thinks different than yourselves doesn't mean jack. It's immaturity at it's finest. we all root for the same team but people have to divide us because they disagree. It's just sad people are that starved for attention that they have to do it through a cpu screen.

And yes, I that support any QB on our team, would be thrilled if Troy Smith comes in and lights it up. I don't root for a QB to play awful, just to be right. I root for the team as a whole. I honestly feel like Troy Smith is going to struggle for a little while, while he gets used to the starting role. I don't expect him to light it up, I just expect him to do whats in his powers to get this team on the right track. If he comes out and plays bad I'm not going to turn on him after .5 games like many here have on Carr. It's common sense that this is the NFL, it's not as easy as many "experts" around here believe it is.

Whatever
If troy does well, leave him in. QBs lose jobs all the time when the backup plays well. I don't think its necessary to let alex play at all this season. Might as well see what we have with troy smith and nate davis. But, its not my job on the line, so sing will likely put alex back in if troy fails.

Wow... Put down the gun, this is a message board for a football team, not a PC joy house where people eat crumpets and drink tea with their pinkies sticking out.

just imagine , the new HC next year he has a clean slate No Alex hopfully not unless some Moron in the 49ers decides to sign him then carr is cut troy one year contract so he can go we only have Nate if his contract is not up ! so the new HC has a clean slate to work with hopfully we go back to the WCO offense ! Hopfully we can find a vet qb that the rookie first rounder learn from mybe Farve J/K . get our O going and then i wake up from my Dream cuz as long as these f**kers the yorks own the 49ers this will never happen !

The rest of the season will be used to evaluate talent for next season. If Troy performs admirably, we can retain him for the backup or 3rd QB role for 2011.

Unless Troy Smith plays beyond belief in the coming weeks, I still think we need to go after a savvy vet that can hold court until our drafted QB develops. The team is prime to be a playoff contender. Change in the coaching staff plus continuity of personnel will be good enough to make a run next season.

I'll be rooting for Troy Smith, just because he is the only "unknown" we have on our QB roster. We already know what Alex Smith, David Carr, and Nate Davis bring to the table.......
