I'm thinking Johnson puts together 1, POSSIBLY 2 games plans together that focus on the pass and put Smith in possition to thrive. If he doesnt, Alex is the next to go.

this is awesome but I think Raye was Sing's puppet. The root cause was not addressed, only the symptom.

Did anyone foresee Raye being this bad, though?

big question is are they going to blow this team up? the 49ers will likely have a whole new coaching staff and QB next year...
lots of changes coming I just hope they hold onto most of the players it's a talented bunch just needs good coaching

Definitely. Sing was definitely adamant about keeping Raye.
The convo probably went like this after the game and maybe this morning.;
Jed- After watching the tape what do u think the problem is.
Sing- Raye's putting them in great position to be successful, but the players are just f**kin up and not executing.
Jed- Oh thats the conclusion you come too. Well i'll say this, as of this morning you have one choice. Either you or Jimmy Raye
Sing- Well Raye and I really didnt see eye to eye on much anyway. We'll turn this thing around ASAP. :)
ps. on a side note tho, is it just me or does anyone notice, that we have been having leaks since week one. I've never seen a team where inside info is published faithfully on a weekly basis.

LaConofra said that Sing and Raye havent been seeing eye to eye on the playcalling
Raye has not seen eye to eye with Coach Mike Singletary about scope of offense. QB Alex Smith has been erratic and run game hit or miss

Raye seemed like a nice guy, but it's about time he was fired. Actually, he never should have been hired. That's all singletary's fault!

It really depends upon whether Raye was the sacrificial lamb or the sacrificial goat. In one case, his firing would not change much. In the other, it says much about how useless Singletary was as any sounding board. In any case, I think team problems now extend way past the OC. Singletary has to go also imo. He basically has ruined the promise of a decent team. He can't and won't change and we all are tired of his act.

wow back to sqaure one. This game was purely the coaches fault. They were simply outcoached and Jimmy had no clue on how to get the offense running. Yes they need to execute, but you need to call plays that will help your QB and the offense get a jump start. I mean all he had to do was look at what Charlie did on the other side.

I agree I think Jed gave the Sing the ultimatum. As far as the leaks go, I think it's an offensive player.

I exepect a dramatic difference in offensive agressiveness vs the Falcons.
