We don't need another rookie QB, who's career we'd screw up with poor development.

We need a veteran signal caller who can work with what we have.

In this case, I haven't given up on Smith. I think with the right offensive coordinator he'd do well.

The problem on offense right now starts with the coaching and playcalling. A broken record really.
