IMO, if Alex does struggle, I can seriously see Singletary not making through the whole season.....only because of his natural hate for the media, and non ability to mask it.

This is a National Televised game...and most likely the press conferences will be covered live by ESPN news after the game....

The majority of the local media might kiss Big Mike arse most of the time...but there will be others there who will not and will try to create a story.

No matter how bad it is - No matter how tough things get - Mike Singletary blew it in this interview. This to me is a meltdown! These types of responses are what gets coaches fired.

It's curt, but I wouldn't think he'd be fired over the interview. Not having a team that can produce will get him fired, this interview not so much. It reads like most of Belichik's interviews.

Meltdown, yes - But I said it is these types of responses that gets coaches fired. Meaning too many of these types of responses - may eventually cost a coach's' job.
