I think its safe to say Phillip Adams made the team tonight and the entire rookie class will make the team. What a find Adams was in the 7th rd from such a small school. Kudos to Baalke.

It is pretty freakin amazing. This is the deepest Niner team since 2002 and the whole rookie class looks to make it!

i hope they don't give adams the derrick johnson (late round draft pick years ago) cut. extremely impressive in preseason as a rookie, but somewhat not good enough even as a regular seasons 5th stringer...

He sure did. Damn this draft keeps looking better and better and better. It kinda makes you wonder just how lit McCloughan was in some of these drafts where we just came away with garbage in rounds 1-4. Drafting while sober is obviously the new black.

I was just building up Adams to my girlfriend's dad right before the punt return for a TD. Way to make me look good. LOL.

He needs to make the 53 man roster. No practice squad. And furthermore I'd personally like to see the guy get some playing time. Special teams, spots on defense in certain situations or whatever. But he is a playmaker and can help us. I don't care what round he was picked in. He is so much better than a 7th rounder.
