The kid could throw 20 td's and 1 interception and they'd b***h the whole off season about the one INT

f**k I was all looking forward to watching a highlight vid.......buls**t.
Sadly, there's not enough footage for an Alex Smith highlight reel. Here's some real Smith footage though.
What a hater. How did this become a negative thread? This is supposed to be a hightlights thread!!
This became a hater thread cause we have some people acting like real Tools in the Zone.
I clicked this thread expecting a highlight reel or at least a decent attempt at one.
Mecca should be ashamed of himself for this thread along with the other ones that he started.
I plea to the mods to take away his topic rights. This is just another in a long line of futile threads.

I checked the records and discovered that ZRF's clip showing Alex's overthrow to Gilmore was in the Atlanta game in 2007, the 9th week of the season, when Alex was playing with a dislocated shoulder. Wow, just wow.
Can there be any doubt now that ZRF's hatred toward Alex has risen to the level of a psychological disorder that may need professional intervention?
Agreed if he has to go back to 2007 when he was FORcED to play with a dislocated shoulder he needs help
Alex Smith needs to get a restraining order
Sadly this is true.

This thread embodies the Zone's pulse on Alex. A vast difference in support. There are more haters than supporters for him right now because they are tired of losing, him making mistakes, and the overall progression of his career especially when compared to Rodgers.
He will never get his due unless he wins and takes us to the playoffs. Until then, it will simply be like this thread.
He's just gotta win.
As far as the video, it would be nice to have one of him. He still came back. He still won some games, made some great throws, and progressed well given a two year injury set back and all the pressure of a #1 pick.

if the choice was between alex smith and stephen hawking, some here would say hawking should be the starting qb .... I can hear them now "Hawking is so much more cerebral than Alex Smith, and with his chair he is much more mobile"

An Alex Smith highlight reel ?
This shouldnt take too long to put together...........Id say about 1-2 plays from each game is a telltale of just how GREAT he can be for us. We'll ignore the other 8000 blunders he made.
Seriously? You probably really enjoyed to those Crabtree and Vernon vids but 70-80% of those throws atleast were from Alex. But yep only 1-2 plays from each game, and somehow 12 INTs in 11 games is 8000 blunders, because it's not like guys like Favre, Elway, or another young QB you probably overexcite yourself in the pants for like Cutler has thrown over 1 INT per game before. Give it up man. He wasn't amazing, but he showed some very nice flashes this year, and if he can just become consistent we could be set at QB for the next 10 years.
ya i guess 18 tds in 10 games without practice or playing for 2 years is pretty pathetic to some people
Dude the stats don't always tell the story. His recievers make him look better than he really is...ahem...cough ...Davis. Most of hiss passes besides that deep post are for short gainers and his intermediate passes are very innacurate. He had plenty of time to develop a rythym with his receivers. You also fail to count the turnovers which are CONSISTENT with his whole career.
His receivers dropped more balls than any team in the league.
He has had five years to learn how to throw a catchable ball not high and behind his receivers. He hasn't gotten much better. It takes two to tango my friend.

Takes Two? My hand and my dick, does that count as two?
Or are we not talking about that "Tango" here?
