his highlights against jacksonville alone should shut half the haters up, but of course their issues are more personal that performance so they will never be satisfied

This shouldnt take too long to put together...........Id say about 1-2 plays from each game is a telltale of just how GREAT he can be for us. We'll ignore the other 8000 blunders he made.

Seriously? You probably really enjoyed to those Crabtree and Vernon vids but 70-80% of those throws atleast were from Alex. But yep only 1-2 plays from each game, and somehow 12 INTs in 11 games is 8000 blunders, because it's not like guys like Favre, Elway, or another young QB you probably overexcite yourself in the pants for like Cutler has thrown over 1 INT per game before. Give it up man. He wasn't amazing, but he showed some very nice flashes this year, and if he can just become consistent we could be set at QB for the next 10 years.

ya i guess 18 tds in 10 games without practice or playing for 2 years is pretty pathetic to some people

Dude the stats don't always tell the story. His recievers make him look better than he really is...ahem...cough ...Davis. Most of hiss passes besides that deep post are for short gainers and his intermediate passes are very innacurate. He had plenty of time to develop a rythym with his receivers. You also fail to count the turnovers which are CONSISTENT with his whole career.

the hypocrisy of the zone in full view. So now Vernon Davis is a guy who can make Quarterbacks better? The guy who was called a bust for 3+ years? Stone Hands ring a bell? The guy who can't run routes, can't find soft spots in zones, etc etc.?

Maybe just maybe, Alex made Vernon better? Ever think of that? Vernon had three touchdowns in six games before Alex took over, he had that in the first half that Alex played in!

And after Vernon which was a weak argument to begin with, seeing as he led the league in dropped passes, who did he have? A rookie who missed all of training camp and preseason, and a 2nd year player who was a 6th rounder the year before. Alex made himself better you may not think its good enough but you should atleast give him the credit for the improvments he made, if nothing else.

Sadly, there's not enough footage for an Alex Smith highlight reel. Here's some real Smith footage though.

Uhhh you forgot that we have Josh "John Taylor" Morgan and his line is the best in the league. There's no excuse for why Alex Smith sucks so badly, especially with Vernon Davis and Crabtree leading the league in drops.
Did everyone notice that ZRF80 had to go clear back to 2007 to find a second bad throw from Alex. They are hard to find, aren't they?
I checked the records and discovered that ZRF's clip showing Alex's overthrow to Gilmore was in the Atlanta game in 2007, the 9th week of the season, when Alex was playing with a dislocated shoulder. Wow, just wow.

Can there be any doubt now that ZRF's hatred toward Alex has risen to the level of a psychological disorder that may need professional intervention?

Agreed if he has to go back to 2007 when he was FORcED to play with a dislocated shoulder he needs help
Wow, I have never seen one played divide a fan base. Why don't we give him a chance, he has made improvements and is getting better. For you haters would it make you feel better if he went to another team to continue to get better or would you like him out of football all together?
In case anyone is interested, I found this video on youtube. Its just all the touchdowns he threw this year. It would be sweet if someone made a higher quality video of all his highlights from this season though.
