This shouldnt take too long to put together...........Id say about 1-2 plays from each game is a telltale of just how GREAT he can be for us. We'll ignore the other 8000 blunders he made.

Seriously? You probably really enjoyed to those Crabtree and Vernon vids but 70-80% of those throws atleast were from Alex. But yep only 1-2 plays from each game, and somehow 12 INTs in 11 games is 8000 blunders, because it's not like guys like Favre, Elway, or another young QB you probably overexcite yourself in the pants for like Cutler has thrown over 1 INT per game before. Give it up man. He wasn't amazing, but he showed some very nice flashes this year, and if he can just become consistent we could be set at QB for the next 10 years.

ya i guess 18 tds in 10 games without practice or playing for 2 years is pretty pathetic to some people

Dude the stats don't always tell the story. His recievers make him look better than he really is...ahem...cough ...Davis. Most of hiss passes besides that deep post are for short gainers and his intermediate passes are very innacurate. He had plenty of time to develop a rythym with his receivers. You also fail to count the turnovers which are CONSISTENT with his whole career.

What you just said is ignorant to the extreme. It is obvious that you aren't operating on logic, but on your own personal dislike for the guy that is going to be starting for us next season. I suppose you think it is a coincidence that once Smith was throwing the passes the receivers started catching many more touchdowns? You are clueless and it is sad that your opinionated stance keeps you from seeing reality.

Rodgers, Favre, Brees, Rivers, Brady...

Those guys apparently get ZERO Y.A.C from their receivers, so it's all them

In fact, Alex would be better if his receivers didn't drop as many balls or make as little plays.

Montana sucked because Rice, Taylor and Clark made him look good. Such an inconsistent QB

of course dropping passes especially game winnning td passes makes smith look sooooo good not to mention i think we have 2 of the leagues top 10 dropped passes personell in the league and i think we have the leader as well ( not to sure) we couldve easily won so many games if passes were caught

Could it also be because Smith consistently throws high and behind?

Get over it, this team needs to win now. He is not a bad QB, the jury is still out on whether he is a great QB. But unfortunately the issues with this team and offense do not squarely fall on his shoulders after this last season.
