I hope it doesn't happen and I doubt that it will. LA had their chance at a pro football team and blew it. Besides I would hate to read one day that in a compromise they changed the name of the team to the San Francisco 49er or Los Angeles. That sounds a little bit to baseballish for me.
But looking at attendance for the 2008 season on espn.com, these 3 teams have the lowest turnout:
Detroit- 435,979 (season total)
Denver- Numbers unlisted
San Francisco- Numbers unlisted
The 49ers lease with candle stick is up after the 2012 season. I could not find when the leases were up for the broncos and Lions, but they moved in to their stadiums in 2001 and 2002 respectively. So of those 3
, its makes the mose logistical sense for the 9ers to move. But I am sure that there are other teams out there with leases expiring the next few years. I would check but that was a lot of work just figuring out those 3 teams situations.
---- I just read that the bills lease is up in 2013
