I say it is Briggs and they will try and get him on the practice squad. Spurlock will be the one cut if and when Crabtree signs.

Yes, someone with practice squad eligibility.

Spurlock, I'd say Taylor but the safety depth is too important right now.

I don't think he can be added to the P.S. (maybe that's not what you meant) and I don't think they would make that cut until Crabtree signs. But I agree, I rather it be Spurlock than Hill
Either way, 2 guys are going to end up getting cut. 1 now and another when/if Crabtree signs

Briggs, Hill, Taylor or Jean-Francois.
The team is already carrying a bonus load of LB's, WR's, safeties and DL, so it has to be one of these positions.
P.S. I'd be shocked to see Spurlock cut. He is the primary Wildcat, and just brings a ton of utility to the team.

Briggs is a possibility for practice squad, he could go to. I just think Spurlock will be gone soon anyway (like you said when Crabtree signs) and don't see him making an impact until then.

Guys, it is highly doubtful that Sims is going to get cut. Teams generally carry 9 OL, so when the Niners only had 8 on their 53 man roster, the writing was on the wall that they were going to acquire another player.
Look for one of the bulked up positions to lose a player.
