That Alex's main issue is that he is cursed. He plays well and bad things happen. Davis drops a first down, Morgan lets a pass go off his facemask for an int...for some reason the football gods just don't like my boy Smith.

Wasn't inspired at all except for the rushing. Its early days mind and I'm sure there will be more to work on but we need some more sharpness out there. You can see they have it in them.

the duck syndrom has returned atrocious is the right word
Hill is being figured out, they just have to cut off the short passing lanes and he is done!

I agree, neither qb looked sharp and both seemed out of sync with the wideouts.Of course the wideouts didn't help either, not much seperation .But thats to be expected with the raiders corners.I cant help but think if Sing just named Hill as the starter (Alex just doesnt have it yet.. and who knows if he ever will) and let Hill and the receivers get their timing down. The running game....DAMMMMMMMM thats all I need to say. And oh yeah We got dem bragging rights all year HELL YEAH

How is it that Davis looks better in his rookie season than Alex Smith did?
Well, at least we got one young QB on this team that has potential.

I was not timing it was that he is figured out stop the short crossing routes and he gets controlled I think they more than likely go with AS because he at least can keep the D honest

Davis is playing against the 3rd stringers.... and Raider 3rd stringers to boot...LOL.. But I see your point.... I say keep him as our 3rd QB and drop Huard... We can always find him at home sitting on the couch...:)

He did not play... Maybe a look at things to come? Maybe they have seen enough of him?

I really hope Baas gets healthy and back in training camp. He was hurt around this time last year. Not good for Oline chemistry.
What is his injury?

I'd keep Huard as backup to Hill and nate davis 3rd string. Let A. Smith go, he'll never develop in to an effective NFL QB.
