I've been to sporting events for all sports all around the country. you are wrong. I understand your statement about our wine and cheese fandom, but come on. THIS IS THE BAY AREA. I noticed that fans kinda take on a persona of their city (I.E. GB=cheeseheads). but that has really nothing o do with being passionate fans or loud supportive fans. you know that whole 12th man s**t in Seattle? loud rowdy fans right? well, they fans are some if the nicest people I have met, and I have been to many games up there-in niner gear. anyway, sporting events should really be about supporting your team, not bashing the opponents fans.

Lol, next time, I'd like to hear some chanting WITHOUT a fight being the cause.

This fighting in the stands is stupid childish crap.......make it MANO E MANO and take it away from other seated fans who have paid to see a game ...... not two clowns pumped up with testosterone...... and please literally kill eachother so that the rest of us can enjoy the game.

It's just being caught up in the moment with a couple of beers in you. You get mouthy and go all in, you feel obligated to redeem yourself. The best bet is just to say screw it and tell them f*** you and sit back down. If they get in your face, an usher/security guard is usally right there to calm things down. I've almost been in two scufles in the stands before; once with a cowboy fan at a Titans game at our stadium and once with some Raider fan at a Rams game at our stadium????????? but it never really got serious...just a little s**t talking. Moreover, about 15 9er fans stood up immediately and silenced the two a-holes.

there is always fights at football games... preseason games can even be a little roudier at times...
