The San Francisco 49ers worked out several players on Tuesday as the team continues to navigate several early-season injuries. Some of the names are familiar, having previously spent time with the team or being linked to the organization.
It remains unclear whether the 49ers plan to sign any of the players ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Denver Broncos or are simply evaluating potential options in case of further roster setbacks.

The 49ers selected Pettis in the second round of the 2018 draft. He has since played for the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, and New Orleans Saints. Turner has also spent time with the team, while Rice is the son of Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice.
Additionally, San Francisco released defensive end Vincent Anthony Jr., who has been on the practice squad since September 1.
