the rams actually played with the Packers for a while, boller played okay, remember they still have jackson at RB, so I hope we dont over look this team and think its an automatic win
we need to give some playing time for Sheets
why?
Cause Gore isnt going to play, Glenn Coffee cant do s**t, and I'd hate to rely on M. Robinson to be the head of our running game!
Coffee did a serviceable job, and id rather have the ball in M-Robs hands instead of Sheets. If Sheets gets called up he is not gonna get playing time. he will be used in special teams and emergency situtation if coffee and robinson get hurt. do you really think Sheets would get called up and leap frog Robinson on the depth chart?
I think Coffee is going to turn it on this game. We should be able to run against the Lambs and Coffee is looking to tear it up...he will be looking to make the most of his opportunity.

This is a dangerous game, with an opponent who has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
lol what a way to set up the dramatic storyline...you might be right...any given Sunday.
then again, the Rams are probably who everyone thinks they are, and get absolutely dominated.

This is a game where we have to DOMINATE. Not necessarely win by 40-0 but to have the game under control from start to finish.
If this team has arrived, as the entire media appears to believe, then that´s the least we can expect out of them.

Yes, we could dominate IF this team keeps their head unf**ked. It's been my experience in life that once someone has nothing to lose and everything to gain, upsets happen.

it wouldn't surprise me if the rams start off the game with an onside kick like the way Nolan used to do I mean they have nothing to lose

I hope we have some killer instinct when Sunday comes around....i don't care if we're up by 5 pts or 40pts....keep scoring. This is a perfect game to take our heartaches out on.....Go 9ers...

49ers open up as 10pt Fav. vs Rams

Personally this game scares me a bit and think 10 pts might be too much. It just seems like a hangover game where the team might take 2-3 days to get over the Vikings loss and not respect the Rams at all.
On paper we should beat them easily. I just think it might be a lot closer than we want it to be.

I predict a shutout. We can contain Peterson, no reason why we can't contain their only weapon. I expect run blitzes up the ass like the Vikes did to us yesterday.
