OUR OFFENSIVE LINE DOMINATED TODAY!!!!!
Even Troy said that our offensive line is the best in the league and it is almost as good as that of those dallas days.
While I'm surprised that Troy would hold such high regard to our o-line, this unit is gelling quite nicely.

Offensive line did well I thought. I don't think Kaep was sacked today. Stupid penalties though. They gotta clean that

Agreed.
This is how the Seahawks looked against the Rams. Only their prayer was answered...

I think we might have peaked in 2012. We were one of the top run OL in the league and pretty good against the pass. Seems like when it rains it pours with us giving up sacks. We can have a stretch of good games then the flood gates open and we give up 4, 5 or 6 in a game. They tend to come in bunches. I don't know I think Iupati is hurt a bit, Goodwin should be replaced hopefully Kilgore is the answer next year but might not be, Davis can get lazy at times and giving him 40 mil he will let down, Staley usually is good to great but he has bad games where he gives up 2-3 sacks, Boone is probably the most consistent but like the rest can have bad games too. I think these guys love to run block and we do so much pulling it can get clogged up and that's why we see a lot of 0-2 yard gains but those work once in awhile and that leads to big gains. These guys are power guys... Staley is probably the only one who you could say is a pass blocker... the rest are bigger power run guys. Anyways, hopefully a game like that will get them back on track. It was a lot of the play calling and Kap as well. All 3 share the blame in that game but seems like the OL is getting off the hook a bit on this one.

I think a lot of Smith sympathizers want to keep the argument QB based, instead of looking at the time he has to let the ball go.
I'm going to bust out the stop watch and start timing from the snap, every other team I watched yesterday had a qb that had time to make reads. As soon as Kaep is done with is steps, dudes are comin'.
Not saying he doesn't deserve some fault.

This is what needs to be discussed. Our offensive line has been absolutely atrocious. Every pass play is a damn near jailbreak. It's no wonder every team brings the house constantly because we don't know how to pick up the blitz to save our life. What is going on here? Is it injuries? Is it not having time on the playclock to call out the line adjustments? Is it talent level?(It shouldn't be) Is it Jonathan Martin rubbing off on everyone else and making our entire line soft? This needs to be fixed ASAP! It reminded me of the Longest Yard where the oline kept purposely letting Adam Sandler get sacked.
