Would be a great signing....if we played a 4-3
Dude can play. Broncos won't like this. He is going to be paid and recruited hard.

He played in a 3-4 a few years ago so it's not new to him, but he'd be rushing the passer primarily if we signed him.....but he should be a hot commodity now and probably not affordable for us as a rotational guy.

I don't know why ppl are surprised by this. A lot of businesses still use fax machines.
I'm aware that we likely won't go anywhere near him, still I think he's viable in the 3-4. Comparing him to Aldon, he's much shorter (5'11 vs. 6'4), but they're dead even in weight (~260lbs).

Dumervil has freakishly long arms though, which gives him plenty of leverage coming off the edge.

But we already have too much money invested at OLB.

Up,up, down,down,left,right,B,A start...

That should give us infinite money.
Remember, Dumervil was asked to take a pay cut, so maybe Dumervil's agent did this on "purpose," faxing the paperwork back a little late so the Broncos were forced to release his client...making him a free agent and opening him up to better offers from other teams. Worse case, Denver can always re-sign him to the original pay-cut terms if no other teams jump in with better deals. It's a win-win for Dumervil.
