I think the NFL lines would destroy the college lines. And that would be pretty much the end of it.

What does Steve Spurrier know about competing in the NFL?

Some are way too confident in NFL teams. So much sloppy play, penalties galore by the bad teams. It's anyone's game nowaday and Alabama didn't win 2 of the past 3 national titles for no reason.
Their oline which boasts at least two 1st round 2013 draft prospects probably averages 6'4 and 320 lbs. Their nose tackle, 6'4, 325 Jesse Williams would pwn Ice in the weight room. The boy can bench upwards of 600 lbs.
Couple all this size, strength, talent, and athleticism with Saban's technical expertise & coaching and his pro style 3-4 defense and you don't underestimate what they could do against a lowly crappy ass NFL offense. And I'd put more weight on a coach spurrier's opinion about football than most here :)

Smart Football @smartfootball
RT @bcfremeau: Which NFL team is wearing LSU's uniforms tonight? It can't be Jacksonville.

Bryan Fischer @BryanDFischer
LaMichael James was asked by @GenoEspn about Alabama: "I do believe Alabama could beat an NFL team too." Think that's out the window.

i am not sure alabama could score on an NFL team. let alone win.
however i do think they could hold a NFL team in check on defense. with the spread of 24 i would bet on bama.

I think with LSU almost coming up with the win should put things in proper perspective.
BTW if the draft were held today, how many of the Alabama players would be drafted by the NFL, let alone be starters.
How many of them could replace the weak players in the worst NFL team?

We'll never know, but they're better coached and prepared than several NFL teams. I like their odds.

Boy I hope you don't bet much on bad odds! If that ever happens, I would like to take your money ... any amount you wish to bet.
