I know he won't read this but man what an outstanding example of a great quarterback. I mean Peyton really plays the position as making the correct audibles and throwing the ball where his man can get it and make a play and his biggest asset is consistency play after play. His accuracy is mind-boggling and his poise was outstanding last night on that game-winning drive. He doesn't play well in the playoffs but I always wonder if he had a better defensive team would he have won more in the playoffs.

bill polian said peytons arm doesnt look bad either but right now it doesnt have the same zip

That's fine and all but that's even more of a reason to doubt the report. I'm not trying to defend that fat b*****d Lombardi but until Peyton is actually on the field again, I think putting a lot of stock in these contradictory reports is silly.

No way the NFL will allow Peyton to go to the NFC West and have him go against the 49ers defense twice a year. The NFL wants to protect their high profile QB's.

Well Polian disputes it as well and what does he know he just runs the Colt's organization. He said he saw zip and accuracy on his passes back in late December granted the passes were cut off at 25 yards.

Anyways it's February. The season doesn't begin to September.

Wouldn't be the 1st person to overcome this injury.

He's going to get cut by Indy and if you're Arizona, Seattle, Miami, Washington or New York what do you really have to lose? You're not going to sign him to a 4 - 5 year deal.

Manning himself knows that it's going to be a incentive laden contract.

Polian's one of Peyton's best friends though, he's not going to be like "nah he looks like s**t right now" and make Peyton's life that much harder by making it more difficult to find a job. Polian's always been supportive of Peyton.
