We got to take Tolzien and get rid of Carr.

Good. Dude is garbage. Million dollar body, 10 cent head, he doesn't even translate as a fullback in the pros anyway, undersized, not a good blocker...etc....not sure where the love affair with this guy started on here anyways.

He wasn't in the same league as Marecic and Chapas anyways.

Well. Another good small school OL, but not really who I was hoping for. Still one more pick to go. . .

Clearly we are not happy with Chilo Rachal, because we just drafted two potential replacements. That's what I get from this.

So you see him going inside to G? I know espn has him listen as a Tackle

Doesn't have the size to play tackle. Too short. He'll be a guard in the NFL.

NFL.com has him listed at 6'5" 299. That's decent height.

Hows his footwork, does he have quick feet??

Looks like our Qbs will be Alex,Kap,and Carr.. That really sucks!

FA will come into play for us I'm sure. Palmer?

Lol exactly. Did you really expect us to draft an immediate starter?

I think that Kap will most likely sit this year but will be allowed to compete with Alex and another vet we bring in.... McNabb? Bulger? Hasselbeck? Volek?

I hope your right, because going into 2011 with basicly the same QB core with Kap switching for Troy.. Scares the hell out of me..

It's going to take more than a year to correct all the flaws on this team. But presumably we have a good coaching staff, at least, until proven otherwise.

Live with it.

With his size, Havili would have been an awesome lead blocker...

...on a high school team.

Exactly, why go and draft a woefully undersized fullback who CAN'T block? That makes absolutely no damn sense. Once Marecic and Chapas were gone, there was no point at looking at anyone else.

Edited the post -- Was referring to Kilgore, not Person. Person is a versatile guy who could feasibly play either but he's a good small school OL prospect.
are we talking about miller cause hes 254??? isnt that big enough?

i know it didnt want to be a party pooper...i think he will a be a probowl FB...at least, in madden.
So far, this draft has had it's sketchy moments for the Niners, but overall I liked it.

Future potential star Pass rusher-check
Future QB-check
FAST DBs-double check
FAST change of pace back-CHECK....STEAL.
FAST reciever with ability to stretch field- check
OL with mean streak to challenge Rachel Ray-Check

Honestly, you can easily see the common denominator of these picks. They're fast. They're athletic. They're talented. They have high ceilings. What do they usually say about players who are raw like some of the ones we picked? That they are projects, etc. Well, I'm fine and ok if they are considered projects, but atleast we now have or expect to have good coaching, so these players will have a ton of help in reaching their potential.

I really liked it. A couple of things I disliked, like the switching of Miller to FB

But overall, I liked the speed factor. People always complained, including myself, about the speed, or lack of speed, on this team. Whether it be at WR or RB or in the secondary, we lacked speed.

We now got it.

mattbarrows Matt Barrows
The 6-4, 299-pound Mike Person was All Big Sky last season at left tackle. He did not allow a sack in 2010.

The guy might not have big lead FB stature but looks decent catching the ball out of the backfield or spread out wide. A quality coveted in WCO FB's.

Potential guy, I'm cool with that. He seem like he got good feet?

Havili. He needs to gain weight to be a fullback in the pros but his frame doesn't look like it can hold it. If they were going to get Havili, they might as well have just moved Dixon to fullback and called it a day.
