Carson Palmer to the 49ers? SI's Peter King thinks so.

This is what I would do. Trade a 3rd or a 4th for Carson Palmer. Heck even send them Nate Davis too.

IF Peterson or the Prince are available when we pick in the draft take them and draft a QB in the 2nd.

I think we should only go after a QB in the first if its Luck.

I agree. But only thing, Nate Davis isn't signed in 2011 so we can't trade him.
I think a 3rd round pick would do be great! Cin probably wouldn't do it tho

Damnit. Well then send them David Carr.

Taking a gamble on Palmer is fine as long as you dont give up more than a 4th round pick. I would pass on him if the cost is anything more than that. He is just not playing at the level that is worth more.

I'd actually give up a 3rd, 6th and David Carr.

Its worth a gamble for a mid round pick.
So would we have to pay his ludicrous salary?

Yes, but I'm pretty sure it could be restructured. Anyone got the details of his contract???

No way we should give up a high round draft pick to take him and his massive contract off their hands.
