Michael Lombardi, of the National Football Post, reports the New York Jets are actively shopping OG Alan Faneca and will likely waive him following the NFL Draft.

Exactly. Maybe he wasn't there most productive lineman last year, but man thats a lot of money wasted right there. I'm pretty sure I read that if they keep him around though, they'd owe him 7.5 mil this year.

I love how the Jets think they're these huge movers and are making all these transactions left and right this offseason. It's gonna be hilarious when they fall on their face. They aren't that good.

They have nothing to replace him at G. Honestly they could use an upgrade at RG over Moore.


I would love the 49ers to go after this guy, either trade or if he's released. Trade depending on what the asking price is.
