We can't imagine any NFL team that wouldn't want to add Josh Cribbs to their roster: he's electrifying as a return man, Wildcat QB, receiver, running back ... he could probably even drop some jaws climbing the stadium stairs working as the beer man. We also can't imagine the Cleveland Browns letting go of him, even though he's really upset right now. He's just too good on the field -- and too cheap -- to let go.
But with the San Francisco 49ers in dire straits in the return game -- Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat lists "return specialist" as one of the top two offseason needs -- and possessing two picks in the first round (No.'s 13 and 17 overall), might a trade be worked out?
Although this suggestion is wildly hypothetical, a trade could become possible at some point if Cribbs and his agent back up their tough talk this offseason and force the Browns' hand.
Not for a 1st round HELL NO
just speculation, Scotty was Holmgrems boss remember! WE RUN s**t!
I understand that is jsut speculation but a first round pick is way too much to give for Cribbs
Say we swap one of our first rd this year for their first rd next year and add B.Jones
Hell yeah, but Cleveland wouldbe getting screwed big time on that one, I dont think they would do it
Far fetched, but they need alot of help...even though they showed otherwise these last few games.
K how bout this, We send them B Jones, the 17th pick and Shaun Hill
for Cribbs and next years first

this is coming down to money, jone's contract is way too big! Also aren't 2011 draft picks even more valuable because NO CBA?

k send them J Hill instead of Jones and i dont know on your 2nd part
Unfortunately I think it would take a lot to trade for him. If there's some way we could swing a decent deal that doesn't give up too too much, I'd definitely love to have him in red and gold.
