RUMOR CENTRAL PER ESPN:
We can't imagine any NFL team that wouldn't want to add Josh Cribbs to their roster: he's electrifying as a return man, Wildcat QB, receiver, running back ... he could probably even drop some jaws climbing the stadium stairs working as the beer man. We also can't imagine the Cleveland Browns letting go of him, even though he's really upset right now. He's just too good on the field -- and too cheap -- to let go.
But with the San Francisco 49ers in dire straits in the return game -- Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat lists "return specialist" as one of the top two offseason needs -- and possessing two picks in the first round (No.'s 13 and 17 overall), might a trade be worked out?
Although this suggestion is wildly hypothetical, a trade could become possible at some point if Cribbs and his agent back up their tough talk this offseason and force the Browns' hand.

I wonder if the Browns would be interested in a WR like Jason Hill or Brandon Jones and/or picks.

If any team would overpay you would think it would be the Niners. Out of sheer desperation alone should make them front runners in a trade proposal.
