Listen Mike, you just took over the Browns and you low balled your best player on your team. Cribbs was the Cleveland offense this year.
Now he wants out and you need lots of draft picks and guess who has a first rounder to spare?
Show us some love Mike, you know you love the 9ers!

I don't mind paying Cribbs, but it's the compensation that we'd have to forfeit. Good PRs/KRs can be found in the latter rounds and also at prices that suit their value on the field.

But we dont know if they will be good returners at the NFL level Cribbs is proven time after time that he is a Dynamic returner, id take him over some rookie we draft in the later rounds
True, but a 2nd round pick? For a PR/KR? Our 2nd round pick is a little high. I may do it for next years' 2nd.
That seems a little too high for a guy who most likely won't be seeing the field much on anything else. He's a dynamic returner sure, but I still feel that good PRs/KRs are a dime a dozen.
And if Brandon Jones or Jason Hill don't see the field, what makes anybody think that Cribbs will? The only reason the Browns stick Cribbs on offense is because the they don't have anybody else.

I agree, hell id even be happy if we signed Domenik Hixon in the offseason to handle the return duties

What about a 3rd or 4th along with Jason Hill?

The highest I would go for Cribbs is a 2nd preferably next years 2nd. Any higher than that we might as well draft CJ Spiller. I know he's unproven but it would sure cost a lot less.

I'd rather throw in Brandon Jones and keep Hill.

Not worth more than a 3rd rounder at the maximum. It would be a complete waste to use a high draft pick on someone who's only going to take care of the return duties. He'd be a 4th or 5th WR in the best case.

this but if we do we better not try running that stupid ass wildcat
if we do sign him, "that stupid ass wildcat" would work. and other teams will sh*t their pants

Cribbs in a packet with Joe Thomas, move Joe Staley to RT and we've solved two positions of need .
OK now down to earth. Cribbs would be great as a PR/KR, also he could be a deep threat IF he learns how to play the WR position.

3rd rounder and a new contract. Maybe a 2nd, if they throw in a 5th or something.
Don't agree with KR/PR being a dime a dozen. If so, why haven't we had a good one --outside of maybe Rossum-- in the past 10 years?
