Larry Fitzgerald wants Kolb

The Cardinals have solicited Fitzgerald's opinion on which quarterback the team should trade for or sign, according to league sources.
Fitzgerald's first recommendation was Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb, for whom the Eagles are expected to entertain trade offers.
So Andy Reid traded McNabb so he could give Kolb the QB reins and even Fitzgerald wants to trade for him, but some 49ers don't want Kolb?
But then again, there are 49ers fans would still have faith in Alex Smith.
Just heard the same thing on the radio. Kolb getting respect from a top tier WR
Very interesting. That means a lot because, I imagine, other players may have a better idea about who is a "player" and who is not. But that's not a fact cast in stone. Vernon Davis and Gore, for example, think that ASmith is a franchise QB.
I've not been in favor of getting Kolb for first rounders. Or even a second, if he is not the long term solution (which IMO, he isn't). Primarily because it takes the team's focus off identifying who the final solution will be.
Fritz did mention Bulger, who is my candidate for an interim solution. We KNOW that he is not long term, but he has played at a very high level. And it would not cost draft picks.
BTW, anybody notice that Fritz didn't mention ASmith . . . Sorry . . . never mind.
