QB Shaun Hill for a 2011 7th Round Pick: This is another move that could win the award for Mayhew on its own. Hill is playing at a high level and he is a top five backup quarterback. Shaun Hill could start for 10 teams in the NFL right now and be an upgrade, including his former team the 49ers. To acquire an insurance policy like Hill for a 7th rounder is masterful.[/quote]

that link talks about the many moves by Lions GM Mayhew...he has done a pretty good job on paper....now they need to start showing it with wins.

What a homer article.....

last time I checked Smith replaced the great Shaun Hill last year when he couldn't do a damn thing. The realist should buy all the Smith haters Shaun Hill jerseys so they can root for their new favorite team.

If anything, Hill doing well is an indication of how bad the coaching was. Glad you're happy about being on the "correct" side of the argument, because that is what's important here.

I agree with the offensive coaching...as well as Sing dictating our offense...

as far as your second sentence....um, where do I state or indicate I'm "happy" about being on the correct side of the argument?

besides it doesn't matter what the Fk I think or feel, I can't influence what happens with the team.
Say this and think about it.
I mean, really think about it.

SHAUN HILL

GREAT QB

Laughter ensues.

If Shaun was our QB right now we wouldn't be 0-5.

If the turnovers didn't happen, we wouldn't be 0 - 5.

If the defense played better, we wouldn't be 0 - 5.

While I've grown very tired of Smith's erratic play, it is not all his fault. This whole team has major issues.
