Our problem in the passing game is the redzone, we need playmakers there
I agree with both posters. A redzone target as well as a target everywhere else are necessary. Perhaps we'll need two, Wright and a second tall receiver. With no Calvin Johnson type available to them, Gore not getting any younger and the WRs' injuries this year, the Niners may need to invest in more than one WR. Crabtree, Wright, 6'5 rookie, Morgan and Williams (with Ginn on returns) may be the way to go.
You never know that might be the case. A Calvin Johnson wide receiver would solve all problems

He reminds me of Greg Jennings more than Antonio Brown or Mike Wallace.
And if he can catch, bring him in. Our receivers have dropped too many passes this year.

I hope he is there when we pick. We can sign a red-zone threat in FA, or draft one a little later. I think Wright would have a huge impact on our team.

He's not that much smaller.
Jennings 5-11 198
Wright 5-10 190
That being said, I would rather have a bigger guy. I vote would be to trade up for Michael Floyd if he drops into the 20's or take Dwight Jones.

At first I wasnt a believer but now I'am so much so that I dont think he will be on the board when we pick. Theres no way teams wont see his ability when there watching tape of RG3. But to be honest I really think we have a star in the making in Kyle Williams he just pops out to me when I watch him play you can tell that he belongs in the NFL and the sky is the limit for him. Add the fact that I think the niners want another big body reciever (tried to get burress ended up with edwards) I think there looking for a 6'3 plus redzone target.

There has got to be better games to evaluate this kid than in the "no defense bowl" we're watching.

yeah, I'm terribly unimpressed with RG3, and I have no idea how to evaluate Wright.

Yeah lets not turn this into an RG3 debate, but RG3 didnt post his usual #'s because the run game was killing it, yet all his throws were very accurate. Wright on the opening TD made some moves to get in the endzone that was very impressive. I wouldnt mind taking this guy at all.
