Please don't. These polls don't really tell us anything. We don't need more polls in the War Room.

It was a joke there guy. I just like to get a sense of what everyone wants. How do people think we should go about the draft and such.
And P.S. posts like where is the Tim Tebow option don't really contribute anything either.

It's an important topic but I will apologize since I made this thread on another board and wanted to see what people on here thought. I then looked an seen there where safety threads in the top two. Either way it's not like the red zone, not as many people use this and it is usually slower around here.

Looks like most people like Chad Jones, just like me. I think he would be a great addition to Goldson at the safety position.

I'll answer your question by asking some questions:
Q: What can our current starting safeties not do well?
A: Cover anyone.
Q: Who is the best coverage safety in this draft?
A: Nate Allen.
Here was what Wes Bunting of the National Football Post had to say about Allen at the Senior Bowl practices:
South Florida safety Nate Allen has been impressive this week. Not only does he display good instincts and ball skills in coverage, he also possesses by far the best footwork of any safety on the South. Allen looks fluid when asked to get out of his breaks and does a nice job getting up to speed quickly. He’s very quietly been one of the most impressive prospects here
I've followed Allen for some time now, and have been very high on his ability to play well in coverage, and in leadership qualities.
Three year starter (39 games), Academic All Big-East, Team Captain for 2009, great character, and "an extension of the coaching staff" (courtesy of NFLDraftCountdown.com). Not a bad combo.

This This This
I had Nate Allen in my original mock draft as our second rounder ... you pretty much summed up the reasons why.
He can cover and play the deep ball well which has been our weakness back there for a long time ... hed be a perfect fit and yes Goldson can play SS.
