Guess Lynch did make the right decision. Meantime, the players he traded for have been playing well for us.

Indy doesn't have a 1st round pick in the next 2 drafts because they traded for Sauce Gardener. Hendrickson may be done for the season, so it's looking like standing pat at the deadline was the right move. Though I'd have LOVED to get QW from the Jets, that was way too high a price.

Yeah, no. Wait till you see the contract he gets.
Translation on Mac Jones comment, if we get a good enough offer, we'll probably deal him.

If they love what they see in Rourke, I think that makes it a lot easier. I'd love to see what he and Martinez can do in the preseason next year honestly. We might very well have a stacked room still.

Rourke would've gone much higher without the injury.

Lynch emphasized that the 49ers have maintained ongoing communication with Aiyuk throughout his rehab.

"Throughout the process, there's been a lot of communication," Lynch added. "We do with all our players, and when you make a commitment to a player like that, your hopes are everything goes smooth, and all that. That's not always the case, and so there's been some bumps in the road.

GM talk me thinks. It was reported a couple of weeks ago he would only communicate thru the trainers and not talk to the 9ers brass directly. Another issue causing grief.

I appreciate the coach and GM "talk" but let's get real. He's gone and let's not try to fluff it up with maybe he comes back stuff John.

Yeah no thanks, let Dallas pay him $30M+ a yr, never been a big Pickens fan, seems to have an attitude issue, reason PIT traded him, I'd rather just draft another WR, though I prefer an OL, than pay another WR ridiculous money, hasn't worked out, Deebo didn't, Aiyuk hasn't, just stick to what we have plus a rookie & cheaper players, sick of overpaying players just because.

I'm not a fan of signng any WR to big contract. Nearly every one of them is available because they're unhappy and a constant source of whining. I'd prefer using the money to sign an established O line or D line player.

I rather give Jennings the money over this fooh !!!

With how our last 2 paid Wrs have played out, I don't think we're going to pay any WRs big money anytime soon.

It was funny going through the responses to the 49ers' offseason during free agency currently sitting here at 9-4 on the way to the playoffs. It was all doom and gloom and the end for Shanalynch.

49ers are in very good spot going into the offseason with all of valuable their picks in hand. A good draft, and next season is the true start to the Shanahan SB Window 2.

This, I just can't see them giving big money to a WR again, not after the fiasco of both Deebo & Aiyuk, both got paid & whined or didn't show up, clearly mistakes giving them the kind of money, but at least we've, hopefully, learned from this, don't give out big money to a WR.
