Bring him home John!

Hopefully no one claims him. 😐

He's an offensive lineman, someone will claim him. Anyone know where we stand on waivers?

What will he cost if we claim him? Wouldn't it be cheaper if he clears waivers without being claimed?

Not sure how waivers work, but if there's a chance to bring him in, you do it. Instant upgrade on the OL. He's already familiar with the system, so as long as he's healthy it's plug and play.

no, he's not. Tomlinson is actually one of the worsts OL in the whole league,.... this is why he's been released,... he's washed and next feb he'll be 34

Last time he played in KS system, it made him rich. He cashed in cause he could play, think Mac Jones.

he was released by the Texans who run the same offensive system,...the system wasn't the problem, but even if it was he would find the same system here,... the problem was that he's washed

and at 34 he's not going to miraculously regain past years' form just because he's under KS,... and Mac Jones is in his prime, nothing to do

You think Burford is better? I don't think Burford is better.

why do you keep bringing that up? we're not trying to be in a long term relationship with him lol.

we just need him for the year..and maybe next year if he plays like his old self.

"Per Sports Info Solutions, Tomlinson's blown block rate is 4.1 percent in pass protection and 6.6 percent as a run blocker -- the fifth-worst among all offensive linemen in the NFL."

I do. And Burford is improving whereas LT is practically finished.
How many comp 4ths/5ths are we expected to get? I know we keep our 4th if Huff doesn't reach 8 sacks (currently has 4) otherwise we keep our 5th instead.

If we still have our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and then at least three comp 4ths/5ths, that's not a bad situation to be in draft capital wise. I still don't know I fully agree with hoarding our picks (and I still think it's questionable to really call the 2024 and 2025 drafts home runs already… though they're hanging in there) but I understand being patient and continuing to use the draft capital we have is important regardless of how this season turns out.
Also, does anyone have that breakdown of how many snaps our rookies have played? I know Mykel's injury probably deflated it but still curious.
Good to have for depth as I assume we have none.

Laken is not a good OL anymore.
