BBeyond stupid any team that has to travel to another continent to play should automatically get the next week off and should have a Thursday night game the week before. How absurd.

Keion is unproven and had his ankle shot in the offseason.

Bosa couldn't make it through training camp without a four week "load management" vacation.

Collins and West have a proven history of ineffectiveness, as rookies, and are dealing with injuries to boot.

Osa is a stud but he cant hold up the dam by himself.

We are putting a lot on Height Holton and Williams.

Two rookies and an acl recovery job who wont be able to put on strength until the next offseason.

Add in a shift to a new defensive scheme without quality in the safety room and this could get ugly.

If we roll snake eyes with injuries I am looking at a historic defensive season unlike any other that has been seen in the NFL since the age of parity began. Think the last two Seattle games multiplied by 16

Simple observation. My 14 and 15 years old grandkids have the same tendency in placing rolling yellow "smileys" after every email, when they encounter inability for a serious conversation or disagreement, thus showcasing that as such. Lol ok guy. You're trying to act like you're so smart, yet you haven't addressed the several things you wrote on the last page that were flat out incorrect and made no sense. But you're so smart and educated!

Not really trying to insult you at all. You just have a way of posting where you say the same thing over and over and over about the team in every single post, and you try to sound like you're some kind of Giants insider. And while doing all that, you say a lot of incorrect or poorly worded stuff. And when you get corrected you get all butthurt about it.

And I'm hardly the only person in an online forum to use a smiley lol. I used it to emphasize how dumb it is that you brought me up in response to faithful's post where he very clearly was not talking about me, yet you brought me up for some reason.

pops out of his stance rather than exploding forward; cleats don't stay in the grass; pads rise; hands outside of OL frame. The guy just sucks right now. He negates every single athletic trait with terrible technique and poor fundamentals. He's been horrible in every single preseason game.

Bad overall last yr as well. Kid keeps getting hurt and can't get the reps to improve on top of it. They went all in last yr to stop the run and two of those 3 picks last yr got wreaked all preseason. Sucks because Williams was a dog at stopping the run and I feel like could do some damage as a rusher from the inside….hope he comes back 100% asap.

We could have easily built a dominant Oline but instead we take bust after bust and this Oline can't hold up vs the top DLines when it matters

You gotta understand that this team will never draft a IOL in the 1st rd let alone top 15…especially over a DL. Booker was NEVER a legit option.

Williams was a fine pick, got hurt and here we are. Booker could have torn his ACL here and we'd be all butt hurt about the pick all the same.

Collins stinks plan and simple, dude can't do the one thing he was suppose to be good at. Like others have said his fundamentals blow….it negates his size and athleticism.

Some other considerations:
- Some of the folks on the 53 are injured. That gives us obvious options to reduce to the 46 man active roster on game days.

- We'll leverage PS elevation to ensure depth and ST contribution. For example, Parker can be our swing tackle with Cruz Jr (raw) and Pleasants (injured) inactive on game day. Similarly, we can elevate Robinson for slot depth, marking Prysock and Hobbs inactive on game day as they recover.

- We'll continue to play roster legos and tetris. For example, as Lowe gets healthy and returns to action after 4 weeks, we will likely have an injury by then. If not, we could activate Lowe and then cut Cruz Jr, increasing our odds to get him to the PS as teams stabilize their rosters.

I don't see them cutting Jones and Toth same with Gifford, he'd be on IR, also you only used 3 IR/DFR spots as PUP don't count, also you can only do 3 elevations during the regular season so they'd better hope Pleasants is healthy and you have 7 vested veterans when you can only have 6
