2026 San Francisco Giants Season Thread

The D-back's starter has been struggling this year but he looked like a Cy Young winner last night against the Giants. After playing well and finally getting over .500 they're back to 3 games under. The Giants slogan this year is 'nothing like it'. It should be 'hope it works.' Every pre game thy talk about hoping this guy or that guy gets back in the lineup. It would be nice to see everyone back but they weren't exactly tearing up the league when everyone was healthy.

Hey that's a win.

Harrison is just so....um....hittable. I guess that's the best way to describe it.
Are we done with Luke Jackson yet FFS?

Hey, so what happened to the thoughted youngsters of Zaidi's great farm system. It only took 7 years but what the studs we have. I am sure he can trade any one of them for the potential HOFer. I don't think he would do that if he could. He prefers to sign few either healed or has beens (the likes of Conforto, Soler, Hanigan and so on) on the bargain contract and hope they can rekindle the past and totally outperform the contract. Sprinkling "Ahmeds and Murphys" to complete the picture. Making him the genius he thinks he is. Too bad he won't be run out of town as he should be. He is an asset to the current ownership group, balancing keeping the profits in check for the ownership group and conning the fans with the "contender" team.
Hopefully Farhan finally gets punted out of here after this season.
Luke Jackson should not be allowed on a major league roster.
went on an 8-2 run, then a 3-7 run dropping 6 in a row. From over .500 to 4 games under and out of the WC. That Wade injury hurt bad.

This team has the runs.

This lineup doesn't have enough to overcome injuries to their best hitter. Too many other guys are hurt as well and the young players aren't ready to take over yet.

the 8-2 run was a fluke... so many comebacks from 4 and 5 runs
