You know who you are.

The most annoying thing our fans say lol

It's f**king dumb, if you have legit power you can hit in this ballpark. Ownership, Farhan, the team struggling for years now have to be the reasons they're not coming here. I've see guys like Soto who's a lefty when he was in SD hit homers to left even. Speaking of I'm not even going to entertain the thought of him coming here when it's an easy call it's gonna be a Judge situation again when he's using teams to stay in NY. NY is just an easy fit for him

Exactly. If you're a slugging lefty, you might lose 2 homeruns a season from triples alley. But besides that, it's probably my most hated excuse our fans say when we don't get a slugger

People say it's hard for left handed hitters to hit HRs at Oracle. Not if they have real power and not warning track power. If they are strong pull hitters the right field wall is short down the lines. If they have oppo field power the ball carries pretty good to right center. Even if they lose a couple HRs per year in triples ally they still play half their games on the road.

lol id say 20 years of ALL lefties struggling to hit for power at Oracle is a pretty convincing sample size. Its not the dimensions of the park, its the cold, wet, sea level air, and the wind patterns that wrap around the right side of the stadium and blow inwards from RF.

Agreed,

The stats say that lefties have a hard time there but in truth how many good left handed hitters have the Giants had.

Visiting players struggle as well. Remove Bonds from the equation and the Giants have 68 splash hits. All visiting teams have 64 total.

That's splash hits but a lot of HRs aren't splash hits. Soto hit 2 HRs today.

Kids having growing pains, vets are broken, and Doval not giving af.

Giants baseball.
It was looking pretty good going into the 9th with a 2 run lead. Doval didn't have it today. 2 walks, a single, double, triple and HR with a wild pitch thrown in. !2 bases surrendered. Looks like theyll be 29-31 after today. The good thing is they have a ot of the toughest teams on their schedule out of the way. They've had 7 against SD, 6 against the Dodgers, 3 against Boston, 7 against Philly and 3 against the Yanks. 26 of their 60 games against the top teams in the league and they're 2 under .500. I still see a .500 team plus or minus 5 games. They play the Dodgers at the end of the month but the rest of June looks relatively easy compared what they just went through.

He may be but remember he was the team's best hitter just last season. Washed up or just having bad season? In either case he's not part of the team's future.

I guarantee the HR's to Right Field/Right Center at Oracle Park since it opened are close to even between Giants players and road players, even without Bonds. HR's over the brick wall are uncommon for any player, not just Giants.

Snell has been a total disaster. Waiting so long to sign was such a bad move.

Watch him get traded and then magically heal up.
I don't like trading for pitchers that are rehabbing and then hoping they'll be okay sometime during the season. It's aways a coin flip whether a pitcher is going to have a good or bad year so why make it worse by acquiring guys that are hurt. We're 20 games away from the halfway point and Snell is still struggling.

They said he tweaked something. Players today just don't play through minor injuries anymore. The slightest little thing and they're out of the game and possibly on the injured list. I've been following the Giants ever since they moved west. I don't recall players missing games in the 60s thru the 80s as often as they do now. Are they just not in good playing shape or are they just more concerned about long term damage? I don't know but it gets old seeing guys out of the lineup every time something doesn't feel right.
I hate to admit this but I looked forward to Soto, Stanton and Judge every time they were at bat. It shows what star power can do when you look forward to the other team's hitters more than your own.
Very agonizing end to the game, but at least 2 big positives: 1) Soler heating up and 2) Casey looks great!

I know but each start he's looking better and better. Too early to say that. Give it 3-4 more outings 1st.
