Odd day yesterday. Late inning comeback so they get Doval up for an obvious save situation and he gets fully warm. Then the giants scored way too much to get a save, but they brought him because he was warm.

Still could've saved Doval for today despite him him being warm and ready to go yesterday. Maybe that bad loss vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday when they were up by four in the ninth had Melvin thinking take no chances and get the W yesterday by bringing in Doval.
It worked yesterday but bit the team in the butt today.

Im guessing that Snell, Ray, and maybe Cobb will help this season. They need more stable middle relief.

Unfotunately they lost their best leadoff hitter. I would rather see Wade in that spot with the way he's getting on base. Lot's of shuffling around now after having a fairly stable lineup early on. Too many guys getting hurt.
