That's what they are saying. Flores might be at 1B for quite a bit.

Flores needs to pick it up. He has been a huge disappointment this season, and Wade has been unbelievable.

Borderline serviceable. 🙂 His first two innings were good but then his last two he really labored and got all the way up to 90 pitches..

Last season he appeared in 51 games as a Giant. He struck out 40 times and only hit .175. This year he was hitting .311 in Sac with 4 HRs. Looks like he really put in some work in the off season.

Giants offense has picked up. Runs scored over the past seven games: 6, 9, 7, 8, 7, 3, 8.

Need guys like Soler to start hitting consistently. Getting Conforto back will help.

For sure. Hamstring strain so it could be a while. It also hurts because the giants are short on LH hitters. Without Wade, they have Bailey, Wisely, and Yaz until Conforto comes back. That's it. So Wisely will likely stay up to fill that gap, even though he's making it extremely hard to not play him. Sabol is an option as well but has limited 1b experience.

Flores will need to step up big though. It will be hard to replace Wade's on base percentage.

yep, and we got him from Tampa Bay, using the prospect (T Peters) that we got in the Trevor Rosenthal trade. Pretty crazy!
