I've stayed away from this because it's stupid but what a classic internet argument to call it misogynistic because he thinks she hasn't had enough experience to be an MLB manager. You can't say why she is qualified so instead pick a defense you think cant be beat. There is a reason she remained in the same position, garce. They value her and want her to be part of the team, but not enough to be promoted. Or maybe the giants are suddenly misogynistic? Lol

I'm glad she is a coach on my team and I'm glad the giants broke that barrier. And I'm glad they interviewed her. It's another step in the right direction. But there is nothing wrong with thinking she isn't ready.

No one is asking you to explain why you are against misogyny.

What I personally am asking you is why you feel so strongly about her when you have absolutely no idea what exactly she brings to the table or what her area of expertise is.

I am with RN on this one. I am glad she is part of the organization, and am glad that its my team that is breaking the gender barrier. But her being our coach should not come at the expense of a more qualified coach, simply because of gender. That's not being misogynistic.

I would also like to learn more about her. What she offers this team. What her area of expertise is.

That was exactly my entire point. They clearly liked her, have liked her and still do, and gave her an interview because they are giving her an opportunity to gain experience in the process. Nothing more or less. Whether she had a legitimate chance to get the job does not mean it's a P/R move.

He really doesn't know anything about Nakken other than what we believe...its cool our team is doing its part in breaking down gender barriers. He saw 99 question the manager interview and saw it as an opportunity to call him misogynistic. Classic lazy 2023 internet attack. I would love to sigh Ohtani because its not my money but its not happening. So I hate reading about it. I do hope Farhan trades some of these "prospects" not named Luciano for a couple stars though. And sign Yamamoto and Lee. That would be a huge win.

You're getting things flipped around, that is what 99 did. Whining about Nakken with no knowledge of the situation. I'm simply calling out his bs.

I couldnt care less if Nakken is on the team or not since I dont have a clue what her role is on the team. But it does amaze me how she can be discussed more than free agency and what can be done to make the Giants better.

I agree with Rubs that the Giants should be active in the trade market and move a prospect or two. Luciano, Harrison, and Whisenhunt would be 3 guys I would probably not move although anything has to be on the table. But trading for a bat would be something I would be looking at.

Yamamoto would be the #1 guy I would go after (Ohtani being unrealistic). Getting a set rotation with 3 potential studs in Webb, Harrison, and Yamamoto should be Farhan's top priority. Cobb and Winn/Beck would fill out the rotation nicely until Whisenhunt is ready.
