I thought last year's team was so much fun to watch...bc they were having so much fun and chemistry was thru the roof.
This year's team may be even better in that regard.
...and good lord - that defense in the 2nd Q was just ridiculous.

Oh and Kuz has also been very impressive this preseason. Will wait till we see for a month during the reg. season but he's shooting the 3 with such confidence.

He's been really good. Hopefully it translates to the regular season

Really want Kuz to play well this season. He's a kind of a player you want on the team - potential to be a above average 3pt shooter - has excellent agility and quickness for someone that size and has improved a lot defensively.
If he pans out - lakers can have:
Lebron
AD
Kuz
Caruso
THT
All of whom can play in big or small lineups. They have size and quickness to switch everything and just lock the eff down.
He's exactly the kind of players you need in today's NBA. Rooting for him big time.

Without a doubt.
Its really early, but Schroeder doesnt really do a whole lot for me honestly. At least offensively, sure he is quick in transition but our whole team is. I hope its more of a timeshare with Caruso, and Caruso finishes. Our defensive metrics last year with him on the court were insane, and his shot should only improve.
I can't watch cook play. I don't understand how someone that small and a so called athlete can be so bad on defense. He cannot close out, he has zero lateral movement, and he isn't really all that good at dribbling. Being friends with stars clearly can get you contracts lol.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma has agreed to a three-year, $40M contract extension, including a player option on 2023-2024 season, sources tell ESPN.

Thats actually a great deal. If he plays great, thats awesome. If not, he's still movable for that money.

It's an amazing deal for both parties. Decent pay for the player involved for his role and he can become an UFA AT 28. And like you said, very tradable if they can get a better player.
