First 3 attempt for Lonzo tonight.......................swish.

His shot is definitely a lot more traditional. Smoother and direct. The ball has a good flight to it. He did a good job working on it over the summer. Just gotta hit them when it counts, now.

Granted it was mostly against backups and scrubs, but Svi looked damn good tonight. His shot was falling and he was leading the team up the court and spreading the ball around really well. I hope he can keep it up when the season starts.

That Rondo Lonzo pairing was great. Takes a ton of pressure of Lonzo and he is able to move without the ball and get into the defense a bit. Lonzo looks like he gained 20 pounds and he has some serious spring right now.
Agreed on Kuzma. It doesn't help when he comes in with Lance and Lance is doing 1 on 1 isos the whole time. Beasley + Lance lineup I think we make 1 basket every 3 minutes.
This.
On Kuzma - also doesn't help that he's being asked to play Center on both ends. It's tiring when you have to bang with guys who got 30-40lbs on you and know how to play that position. I think sometimes he's just thinking too much out there rather than just reacting and letting instinct take over. It's screwing with him on offense.
Lonzo said he's 210lbs now...he was playing at 190 last season. Big change in 5-6 months.
Called it!
Ya Kuz is going to get strung out a bit. But really we don't have a lot of options. I agree with you and Stoney it isn't an ideal situation for him. You lose your legs by end of game and 3s start falling short.

He just needs time. He'll be fineeeee. Don't need to send him to D league after 2 weeks of pro ball. Let the kid get up to speed and watch him take Lance's minutes

Little confidence, little more strength so he isn't throwing it up. Lonzo aint Steph but he won't be a liability either like he was last year lol

Ya. Bron needs to man up and play C when we go small. Hopefully Mo isn't out for too long.

Magic did say that his shot has been "a thing of beauty". It does look much better, and the quick release is there now. Hopefully he can do this consistently, and if he can, WATCH OUT.
