NBA changes 2018 All-Star Game format, eliminates traditional East vs. West

The NBA has eliminated the traditional Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference format for the 2018 All-Star Game, and will instead implement a model that could see top stars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant playing on the same team.

In the new format, the leading fan vote-getters from the East and West will serve as captains who will select players regardless of conference affiliation. The 2018 All-Star Game in Los Angeles will be the first one in NBA history that is not East vs. West.

Should have been the 24 best players, not 12 and 12 from each conference but it's progress.

Compared to the West All Stars some of those players on your list will not be an all star in the West. I hope they take out the conference next year and just makes it the best players on the whole NBA since they are not doing East vs West anymore.

Anyways the drafting process will be very funny. Some of the egos on some players will be butt hurt haha can't wait.
Leggo

Got a whole bunch of super teams this year. Who said the Warriors made basketball boring?
