Hell of a game. Special teams has been an Achilles heel for Clemson all year. That was the third KO return given up on the season. The bloop kick was a perfectly executed play precipitated by Saban's realization that Watson couldn't be stopped. If you gave anyone 550 yards and 40 points for Clemson, you would have bet the house on the Tigers. The inexplicable secondary busts (Clemson came into the game 9th in pass defense and has 4 NFL players starting) and OJ Howard getting loose on that final Bama drive while taking advantage of Alexander's backup just killed things for Clemson.

Clemson demonstrated once again after dominating Oklahoma that they can go toe to toe physically with anyone, and that has propelled them to where they are as a program now, along with a megastar like Watson. They have always had great skill players and team speed, but now they can impose their will at the lines of scrimmage on both sides. Looks like they will be a preseason #1 to start the year, and they have the talent to be back in the title game. Offense will be just ridiculous after adding Mike Williams, getting Cain back, and bringing in some other blue chip recruits including the #1 RB in nation who is a speed demon to compliment Gallman (they also have a very good RB named Choice who redshirted this year).

Venables will have his work cut out on D with early defections, but they have been recruiting well and have a stacked pipeline. Just broke ground on a new $55MM football complex across from the stadium that will incorporate their already built indoor facility. Clemson is now elite and looks poised to stay on that stage.

My Utes having a pretty good signing day. Luckily for us we don't need #1 players to beat a crap Michigan coach. We just need a good coach.

ASU got ESPN's #1 ranked WR, so I'm happy

If USC lands Jack Jones they would have done better than the most optimistic SC guy could predict.

High powered passing game for over a decade, back to when Koetter coached us. School becomes known for it. At the same time, we've struggled to recruit O-Line and DBs which has been our Achilles heel for years.

If we get some QB play our team is actually dangerous next year, a lot of good young players.

We didn't have a good year but I'm actually not too worried about the direction of the program.

Was given a 2 year extension 3 months ago.

They need an OC now as the OC was fired along with the former interim HC (they are father/son), and interestingly enough that the Illini DC coached with Lovie in Chicago and Tampa.

New scoreboard and surround sound system nearly finished. Pretty f**king excited as this has been a huge downfall to a pretty nice stadium.
