Screw over your fantasy team? I didn't realize you had such wood for AK47.

Not usually but he's in a prefect situation this year in Utah. With Okur seriously injured, Wes Matthews gone, and a thin Jazz bench, AK-47 will get a ton of minutes in a fantasy-friendly system.

That's all true, but as a two time AK47 owner, I'm convinced that he'll find a way to miss 25 games with a hangnail.

Contract year. AK will tough it out this year

Why the f**k are the Nets giving up Devin Harris for no f**king reason. If you're trading for Melo you want to keep your only serviceable distributor so that you can compete THIS YEAR. Devin makes reasonable money and can be traded in the offseason very very easily. Or if you sign Chris Paul, Devin would be a great bench player making a reasonable $9M per year.

AK-47 for Boris Diaw is just retarded for the Jazz

The Bobcats rape everyone in this deal.

There is no reason to involve other teams if the Nets and Nuggets want to make a deal. The rest of the teams are irrelevant.

Trade Carmelo for Troy Murphy, Derrick Favors, Terrence Williams and a future first

How hard is that?

THANK YOU!!!! I'm glad a non-Jazz fan feels that way too.

He sounded country as f**k when he entered the league.

I don't know country so much as nervous, but maybe I was expecting more country?

Yeah, just missing the swagger. Rookie MJ would never have taken on the challenge of a Hitler moustache!

Source: Melo Approves Trade To Nets

According to the New York Daily News, a "reliable source" reports that Carmelo Anthony has approved a trade to the Nets.

Presumably this means that Anthony would agree to a long-term contract extension upon a trade to New Jersey.

A trade could be agreed upon as early as Saturday.

Melo approval of deal is news to two execs involved, though both say completing the deal itself more challenging than getting yes from Melo. half a minute ago via twidroid

I will be shocked if this trade goes down.

Seems to me that all this means is that he's cool with playing in NJ.
