The Cavaliers and their fans deserve NOTHING. They got lebron with the first pick, he didn't pick them. There was no personal choice there. He's been with the f**king team for 7 years and the best they could do is Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison? I'm sorry, but you guys f**ked up. If the Warriors lucked into Lebron James, I wouldn't be depressed at all if he left us after 7 years of terrible teammates

This is pretty much how i feel about it.

Agreed. Can you really hate the guy for going to the team where he thinks he can win best? Gimme a break. You're telling me you guys wouldn't go to a team most stacked to win a ring?!?!

Not when Im at talented as LeBron and have the opportunity to call myself the GOAT when my career is all said and done assuming I play it all right...he HAD a lot to win and a lot to lose pending how he played his future...I dont even think leaving Cleveland would have obliterated his legacy the way going to Miami has, it obviously would have been GREAT for his legacy to stay in Cleveland, but even a move to the Nets, Bulls, or Knicks would have been okh for his legacy...

But nope...now his legacy is beyond tarnished...its simply dead...

Not surprised this is the reaction of Kobe fans.

Plural?

Hes indirectly saying my ability to post so much and with so much detail makes it seem like there are multiple GameOver's when in reality, there is only one...one Chosen 1...GameOver...lol

But please, Im a Laker fan first, Shaq fan second, Hibachi fan 3rd, Kobe fan 4th, so if you're gonna call me by a name, please say the first 3 seeing how they are more appropriate or else you are just picking the title you want to hear and disrespecting my fanhood for the sake of your argument

I didn't mean to single you out, but it does seem to be the general consensus of many a laker fan which in turn is usually a kobe fan

I think there are two reasons for it -

1) Heat is now the biggest threat to Lakers 3peat...regardless of what anyone says right now about not having a full team.
2) It has been debated here and pretty much anywhere there are basketball fans - who is the best player in NBA right now...Lebron or Kobe? So if Lebron acts like a spoiled brat, make Laker fans will come out with pitch-forks. Just like fans of other teams tend to do against Kobe.

...but I do think your take on what occurred this off-season is way over the top. Winners always right their own legacy/history.

I think losers get to write their history too, I hope that right isnt taken away from them, that'd be f**ked up...I dunno how Charles Barkley would feel about that...

But I think Bron's basically taken a very large sharpie and written a very good chunk of his history with his actions in the past few months...to each their own tho...
awwww s**t mike miller signed with the heat. theres their spot up shooter
You guys are prejudice.

I'm the vice president of the WZ Kobe fanboy club and I think Lebron did the right thing in leaving.

Losers don't get to write anything bro. You think ppl who are born in this decade will know Barkley?!? Maybe they will know him because he is a funny TNT half-time show analyst. But, they will read about Jordan, they will log on to Youtube to see Jordan or Magic, Bird, Shaq, Hakeem - but they won't care about Ewings or Malones of NBA.
I don't have any issue with Lebron leaving, it's
1. the manner in which he left and
2. the team that he went to

It's just the way that this whole saga has rubbed off on me.

I actually thought Lebron should have gone to Chicago. They have a rising star and PG in Derrick Rose. They have a feisty center in Joakim Noah. He reminds me of Dennis Rodman. Boozer is a good low post player though he has injury history. And by signing with Miami, they won't have much $ to put together the rest of the team.

Noah reminds you of Rodman?

Yeah. Both are feisty, dive on the floor for the ball players. Very emotional. Their offense is really not the best part of their game, but Noah's is better than Rodman. Both are good defenders. Both just very unique individuals with definitely their own styles. Look at the suit Noah wore during the draft.

I see your point with some of the similar things they do, but Rodman was an entirely different monster. Rodman was Artest, more hardcore, before there was Artest. Noah doesn't have that level of crazy in him. Rodman was a friggin loose canon.

Yes, very true. I made the comparison to Rodman mostly because of the Bulls connection and he is the closest person I think Joakim is to.

Pat Riley is a smart guy, he will give them a team good enough to win it all. I expect them to sign a guy like Rasheed Wallace or someone whose role will be to block shots and be able to somewhat defend Centers
The fact that Lebron had to go to a team with 2 great players on it, means he's admitting that he can't win a ring on his own. He can win 6 rings and no one will consider him close to Jordan, because of the team Lebron has.
